Trip Update-God’s Timing

Today, Jeremy should have been landing in Namibia to start 5 weeks of translation work of discipleship videos for the Jesus film into Ju/hoasi, but he is running errands around town for Claudia as she heals from her broken heel bone. She is doing good. She has had the stitches removed from surgery and will start physical therapy at the end of July. She won’t be able to put any weight on her left foot until September.

Jeremy had to postpone his trip to Namibia until Claudia can walk again. He must be here to run the farm; make deliveries; take care of all the animals; plant, weed and harvest the market garden; take the harvest to the farmers market weekly; cook meals, do dishes, do laundry for us; etc. Jeremy’s “to do list” is endless. He has been struggling to juggle everything since Claudia’s injury. Thankfully, we have had family, friends, church family, volunteers, and employees step up and help. God is providing for our daily needs during this time.

When will Jeremy go to Namibia? Looking at the calendar: farmers market season ends the week of Thanksgiving, then Christmas holidays here. Jeremy is looking at going between Christmas and the New Year and returning the beginning of February. January is our slowest month at the farm and Claudia should be walking by then again. This is a special time of year in Africa as most celebrate surviving another year. Jeremy will be able to celebrate with them.

Thank you to everyone who has given toward his trip! Jeremy is going in God’s timing.
