It’s almost Summer and we needed to touch base with everyone. Jeremy has been requested to return to Tsumkwe Namibia for five weeks this summer and lead an exciting translation project. In short He will be helping to translate and record the audio for 6 new Jesus film project discipleship videos. Once finished they will be handed over to a local ministry partner who has the means and team of local believers to take and show them in the remote villages and talk about them. When we lived there we were doing it all and now to be able hand it over to a local team and they take it forward is exciting. Part of this team are guys that Jeremy spent time with when we lived there. Jeremy will be leaving in Mid-July and Returning Late August. This will pull him away from the farm which is growing but we are praying for part time help so Claudia can do all she does and not be overwhelmed.
We wanted to say thank you to those who continue to give or give whenever you can through Africa Inland Mission. That money will be enough to cover the travel expenses for the trip and materials to make this translation happen. Currently Jeremy still has to work off the farm to help pay bills and brings in between 1,500 and 2,000 a month. With him leaving for 5 weeks we will be left with no income as He can’t use any of the AIM money for salary . Claudia will be running the farm and taking care of Anastasia. Although translation will be the main focus of the trip. Visiting and encouraging the believers and friends will be a huge part of non translation time. Jeremy also plans on using the bible story set we created to host daily bible discussion groups. Thank you for supporting the ongoing ministry work in Tsumwke.
