This week story takes us traveling down the Tsumkwe road at 55 mph with 5 Bushman in my truck on our way to the bush. All of a sudden we spot a dead rabbit in the road. So we turn around and check it out. It’s winter and last night was in the 40’s so the meat was still good. Five minutes later we arrived at our destination in the bush and the guys basically worked as a team and within 15 minutes we were sitting around eating fire roasted rabbit. Fast food Kalahari style. If Africa has taught me one thing it’s true that “it’s not about the destination but the journey”. We accomplished what we originally we’re heading to the bush for we just took a moment to stop and enjoy the journey. A lesson for all of us in life.

Thanks for sharing.
