Fun Fact Friday: Names

Traditionally Ju/’hoansi recycle about 150 names. Names are important for connecting persons beyond immediate biological relatives. In a small group gathering, several people could share the same name. When you share a name with someone, you are family. This allows an individual to move easily between groups and to find “relatives” wherever they go.
